Isn’t God awesome? Just reading his word make me so happy. He is sharing so much with me, and I have learned a lot in the past couple of months. I have index cards in my bible, with bible verses that I wrote down a couple of years ago. Yesterday, the one with James 1:2-4 fell out and I read it. Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
It’s awesome to know that everything I go through is to help develop my perseverance through my walk with Christ. So that I may not be lacking anything, and that I may be complete. This trial that I am going through is something God is using to help strengthen me, and make me a better disciple for him. I don’t know what is around the corner, but I am sure it is something that I will be very pleased with! :)
